Hi, OK, Thomas directed me to Trolls (thanks!) regarding the koffice QML-based startup dialog; and just now Alan Alpert answered my questions. Some things (except for time) that have to be found: - clearly indicating focus - keyboard support, tab order (QML is aimed more at touch interfaces for now) - integrating well enough with user-selected QStyle, QPalette; making interface elements easy to recognize - work with artists, for beauty and _elegance_ ;) ---------- Forwarded message ---------- From: Alan Alpert <[email protected]> Date: 6 July 2010 09:39 Subject: QmlOfficeDemo To: [email protected] Hi, The koffice like the qmlofficedemo folder in http://gitorious.org/qt-qml-demo-playground -- Alan Alpert -- regards / pozdrawiam, Jaroslaw Staniek http://www.linkedin.com/in/jstaniek Kexi & KOffice (http://www.kexi-project.org, http://www.koffice.org) KDE Software Development Platform on MS Windows (http://windows.kde.org)
