Hi, I guess this isn't 100% the correct list, but anyway. Some time ago, you've created a new kaffeine icon (which is nice, thanks). It's installed into the oxygen directory (like the others icons) - i.e. to /usr/share/icons/oxygen/[size]/apps/kaffeine.png. The problem is that other desktop environments don't necessarily look there for the icon, so the icon should be in the hicolor directory. The more general question is whether application icons should be managed in oxygen or in the application itself (in this case it's very unlikely that I feel the need to modify the icon, I'm not an artist). Possible solutions: - someone hacks the oxygen cmake files, so that the path of the kaffeine icon is changed - the icon is moved* to the kaffeine tree and installed as a part of kaffeine Thanks, Christoph (kaffeine maintainer) *move = copy + remove after a grace period, so that there is no duplication / ambiguity ______________________________________________________________________________ [email protected] | https://mail.kde.org/mailman/listinfo/kde-artists
