[kde-artists] Artwork request for Knights

I have written a Chess application for KDE4 called Knights, named after the
old KDE3 app. It is currently quite feature complete, with local play
against another player or a computer, and an Internet play option. It has
passed kdereview and is now located in extragear/games [1].

I would like to release it soon, but it does not have a good unique theme.
As indicated in [2], the current graphics are not so good. I don't intend to
keep this theme as the default, as they are two others included with Knights
and three can be found on kde-look.org [3]. However, most of these themes
(all except the Plain one) are copies from other programs. I'm not a good
artist, and I can't really judge their quality, so I would like to have some
opinion about them.

I also don't know what it would take to create a unique kde-like theme for
Knights. It would be great if you could do it. I have written a
README.themes file, and you can look at the other themes to see what
elements have to be present. I realise that you're probably quite busy, so
no problem if it is too much work.

There are two more graphical issues with the game as it is: The background
is all white, and the player clock is rather ugly. I would appreciate some
advice about this.
