I am not sure why Gwenview is involved in a discussion about go-next*
icons: Gwenview uses the media-skip-(backward|forward) icons.

I disagree with the change you are proposing. I understand the
go-(previous|next)-view-page icons as representing the action of going
from one page to another *within* a document. Gwenview goes from one
document to another.

Moving from one document to another is quite similar to moving from one
media to another in a playlist (even more when documents are videos)
hence the use of media-skip-(backward|forward).
