cc licences were not considered a open licence by debian...(duno if that 
changed in the meantime)
any way in oxygen for example we use LGPL wich is kinda like the most 
premissive cc licence (without the focus on the money issue that was the 
problem with cc)... I would preferr that just becouse we know it works....
copyright is also probably better saveguarded with lgpl specialy for derived 
works.....
