This license allows you to combine the work with other works, that's one of the most important points. UI-wise, I understand your concern (consistency and all that), but it breaks the license, so cannot be shipped with under this condition. Would you reconsider it? (We can still replace all older icons with newer ones, but it would mean breaking existing setups, which we generally don't do lightly.)
