I 140% agree we could use a change in our sound theme. Your startup sound
sounds quite nice, but it's imho too long. I also played it in an office
full of KDE people and after 4 seconds 3 of them simultaneously said "it's
too long already". But the direction this is going is pretty awesome. I
like it :)

I personally think startup sound should be something like 2-3 seconds
sound. Though when I really think about it, I don't think startup sound is
still needed. It was nice in the past where the computers were booting for
minutes, so you could do something else while your machine was booting and
once it was ready, it played a nice sound. This is not the case today where
booting is in seconds and you are usually in front of your computer the
whole time (because you don't have time to do anything else) and so you
don't need to be told "you have just logged in" by an entrance music. But
please keep up your work, I'm curious to see what more will come :)

Thanks for stepping up to this uneasy task!
