Never mind that when you point out an inequity like that people will bitch at you and defend the royal family.. "a royal family like ours is so unique, it's our history!".. While we actually had a republic system which caused Benjamin Franklin to say "In love of liberty and in the defense of it, Holland has been our example". But then Napoleon goes rampant in Europe and for some reason after his defeat we settle for a King instead of the republic we really were.
