No. I would put executables in /usr/bin or /opt/qt/bin.
But I think part of the reason that it's arranged in this manner is that Qt is
considered a central enough part of the system by most distros to be in /usr
but it's too difficult and dangerous to copy the source to /usr, hope that
compilation works (and maybe i'm a 'tard, but i've never managed to
successfully compile Qt) and then try and clean up by removing the source
files without removing anything you want to keep. faced with such a daunting
challenge, i'd probably end up installing it in /usr/lib/qt too.
