That's right.  Drugs, China, Mexico, Amnesty for Illegal Aliens, and other 
issues have all taken a backseat to stopping the mass murder of Americans.

That's why we've gone from Bush calling China a "strategic competitor" and 
fighting over spy planes, to buddying up with China to help contain the 
budding disaster in North Korea.

That's why the Bush administration is practically ignoring Cuba.

That's why President Bush and President Fox seem less friendly these days.  
That famous first-hand lesson on international terrorism taught Bush, as 
it taught many of us, that he can't give Mexico the open border Fox has 
been asking for.

The world didn't change in late 2001.  Some of us just had our ability to 
see the world for what it is changed.

It'd be reckless to worry about opium when you consider the alternative.

Actually, I've come up with another theory.  Perhaps Mr. Pour is on the 
payroll of the Trilat^W Bush Administration.  They might be paying him to 
say this stuff, hoping that it will discredit other critics of the 
President.
