That's right. Drugs, China, Mexico, Amnesty for Illegal Aliens, and other issues have all taken a backseat to stopping the mass murder of Americans. That's why we've gone from Bush calling China a "strategic competitor" and fighting over spy planes, to buddying up with China to help contain the budding disaster in North Korea. That's why the Bush administration is practically ignoring Cuba. That's why President Bush and President Fox seem less friendly these days. That famous first-hand lesson on international terrorism taught Bush, as it taught many of us, that he can't give Mexico the open border Fox has been asking for. The world didn't change in late 2001. Some of us just had our ability to see the world for what it is changed. It'd be reckless to worry about opium when you consider the alternative. > Perhaps either of us should explain to Neil your mails are informational > messages and not some sort of "joke of the day", just to be on the safe > side. Actually, I've come up with another theory. Perhaps Mr. Pour is on the payroll of the Trilat^W Bush Administration. They might be paying him to say this stuff, hoping that it will discredit other critics of the President. - -- Neil Stevens - [email protected] "The shepherd drives the wolf from the sheep's throat, for which the sheep thanks the shepherd as a liberator, while the wolf denounces him for the same act as the destroyer of liberty." -- Abraham Lincoln -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.1 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQE+t6Ggf7mnligQOmERAjIIAJ9zl74LLPVG8dPW3W/t8ve6pzzQ0wCfbAqi WbCGvQ5piMqNl+Mlq8hkDrg= =Xgbl -----END PGP SIGNATURE----- Kde-cafe mailing list - [email protected] http://ofb.biz/lists/listinfo.cgi/kde-cafe DISCLAIMER: The views expressed on this mailinglist are the personal opinions of the author and do not represent OfB.biz: Open for Business, KDE or the author's employer.
