OK then. Imagine you have an large supply of custard which is currently 
broken. I'm contracted by the UK government to repair your supply, in 
exchange for which I am entitled to buy as much custard from you for an 
unspecified period at a price determined by myself. The purposes for which 
you can use any profits are limited by the UK government. This is done 
without consultation with you, under UK law, despite the fact that the source 
of custard is located at your home in the USA.
