someone needs to read "The Boy Who Cried Wolf" to those in charge of this WMDs
search. i've read so many reports saying "this could be it" only for it to
quietly go away with hardly a retraction to be heard that it grows tiring.

in any case, finding the means to create WMDs is one thing (the means to
create them is indeed horrible), but finding actual WMDs and evidence of
their recent production is quite another. and since the latter was the actual
claim made, then:

considering that the entire point of this resource intensive search is to
justify *after the fact* the invasion of a foreign nation which was not at
the time in a state of agression, if at the end of it all they come up with
anything short of quantities of stockpiled WMDs the whole investigation is
going to go down as one of the most futile and stupid things an American
administration has ever done.

btw, when is the USA going to stop harbouring, funding and supporting people
who research and develop WMDs?
