Then I realised that there was no point expending the energy. But I sent the mail anyway. So I'll just pick out one example. Yesterday, after having done absolutely nothing out of the ordinary in any way, I booted my PC to find that parts of my KDE configuration had randomly reverted to Mandrake defaults, while some parts hadn't.
