  Hmm... I really don't have the data but I would wonder if it is. Is it 
better to be under a fledgling democracy or not? Really, I would submit that 
I wonder if there was any ability for the condition to worsen at all? 

  I will say this: I wish the US would have invested funds to rebuild 
Afghanistan after the conflict.

  At any rate, I would take issue with the assertion that there is no proof of 
Afghan support of 9/11. Considering that Afghanistan full supported al-Qaeda, 
and further more, that al-Qaeda was known to be largely in Afghanistan, can 
we not infer this as indirect, but strong, support?

  I certainly hope not... there is no good reason to, but who knows.

  The thing you overlook is not everyone thinks the US has a problem. If many 
Americans don't believe there is a problem how are we suppose to worry about 
it?

  Hey, I happen to be a Missourian with a French heritage. I really doubt I 
would take offense at the French anthem (admittedly, I would not recognize it 
immediately, it might take me a few moments).
