It all looks pretty sad to me. Don't you remember XD1? They had tons of *real* users and fans, on top of the press just parroting off the PR. This time even the Slashdot announcement just withered away with a whimper. After 2 years Ximian seem to have bundled up GNOME with a bunch of proprietary fonts and artwork, and whoopdedee a new printer dialog.
