Any news about SCO suit against IBM (and danger for "1500 companies illegally usiung Linux")? I can just tell you guys that recently (June 23rd) I had seminar for dealers - half the day, and another half was SCO part. Guy from SCO toild that they stopped sales of SCO Linux (part of United Linux initiative), and started switching all commercial users of their Linux'es/UNIX'es to UnixWare. As fasr as I understand the biggest UNIX/UnixWare customer for SCO is MacDonalds, which has 15000 (fifteen thousands) licenses (worldwide). Plus many hotels use SCO, too (in particular, chain of Marriot hotels) What about your countires/regions? Does SCO have strong presence in Corporate market? P.S. SCO also told that they increased amount demanded from IBM from $1 billion to $3 billion. Does someone has more details on this, or steps made by IBM? -- Best Regards, Vadim Plessky SVG Icons * BlueSphere Icons 0.3.0 released http://svgicons.sourceforge.net Kde-cafe mailing list - [email protected] http://ofb.biz/lists/listinfo.cgi/kde-cafe DISCLAIMER: The views expressed on this mailinglist are the personal opinions of the author and do not represent OfB.biz: Open for Business, KDE or the author's employer.
