  I'd propose the government speculated and the media made whatever the 
government speculated five times more sensational... just like always. The 
media knew Prv. Lynch's story could be a good ratings tool.

  Well, it may be that this is true, but so are my points, I believe.

  Sure, I'd love that! I've always had this odd desire to be a public 
relations head/spokesman... don't ask me why. I'm assuming the onslaught of 
the stupid press would make it less interesting fast, however. 

  Back during the prime of the Iraq conflict, when CNN was broadcasting the 
press briefings, it reminded me again how stupid the press really is. I mean, 
they'd ask the same question over and over and over again.

  I won't refute that it was taken advantage of as a media thing. I will argue  
as to whether Iraqis wanted it or not.

  It was along the board of Iran and was thought to have ties with al-Qaeda. I 
don't remember much more than that.

  No. I'm not sure if you read my blog, but if you do, you'd see I criticize 
the president about once a month -- and so far the Bush administration is the 
only political entity I think I've criticized (maybe I've done a few other 
criticisms, but not any that I remember).
