duhhh... KMPlayer. If KMPlayer doesn't satisfy you, then there's nothing 
stopping someone writing a better frontend. Also, you can get all the Windows 
DLLs from the MPlayer site. Also, you don't actually need Windows DLLs for 
the vast majority of formats.

People who consider this bizarre definition of 'good name' would probably not 
consider using Linux.
