  Right. That's why I think its sort of like Shared Source... you can see the 
source but it has some issues especially in commercial situations 
(redistribution, etc.).

  Right... but a "war of words" (not "worlds") is possible (we already sort of 
saw that this spring).

  Indeed... or urpmi from MandrakeSoft (nearly as good as apt-get). But, 
somehow I think if the DoD won't do a German product they definately won't do 
a French one. :-( At any rate, though, like I said, it's probably wise to 
employ the people that are paying the bills for the DoD, so oh well. Debian 
is good.

  Well, that's questionably good. ;-) Seriously that'll do... better yet, use 
Libranet and you get the same text-mode installer with more auto-detection 
goodness.
