Well, since you're speaking for the users:

I saw quite a few emails congratulating us on changing the website,
quite a few emails FLAMING us for NOT (supposedly) changing the
website, but not a single email complaining about the change.  These
were actual website users who spontaneously wrote [email protected]
and [email protected].  

Empirically, it would definitely seem that users were *for* the
change.

Given, there was grumbling from you, Neil and other developers,
elsewhere (justified or not).

Again, you have to bring in Iran, Iraq and Saddam?

Nice going using all of this as an excuse to claim that KDE is
anti-American and to push whatever politics.  Certainly an effective
approach to dragging us back down to the dark ages of KDE PR...  your
website must have gotten a lot of publicity?  Made it #1 on Google?
