I highly recommend Dotster. They aren't the absolute cheapest (they are
$14.95), but they have good support, good administration tools, etc. If
you buy a good number of domains, you might also like their Instant
Reseller program -- it's free and it lets you buy domains for $12 a
piece (it also provides you with a customizable interface so that you
can sell domains to clients, etc., for whatever price you want over $12
and take the difference).
