http://www.newsforge.com/business/03/11/04/1854241.shtml Open source community reaction was a concern. Stone said, "So far, all the feedback I've gotten from our folks, through Nat and Miguel (of recent Novell acquisition Ximian) has been positive." Red Hat was mentioned again, with the reassurance that Novell (and by extension, Ximian) would continue to support Red Hat -- but now "SuSE will be our lead partner." Nat Friedman, a co-founder of Ximian, is the man in charge of Novell's desktop strategy.
