This *is* an ethnic slur. He should have referred to the "Israeli lobby" and nobody with
any sense denies that that lobby exists.

You just don't get it -- to say that *is* racist.

Saying that there are a large number of "Whites" (which should include Jews since Hebrew
Jews *are* "Caucasians"} is said in the context of discrimination against various
"non-White" minority groups. It isn't the same thing. An equivalent thing would be
complaining that there were too many Germans (on the basis of family name) in positions of
power and influence.

It isn't about the facts. The "Who Rules America" story is racist and hate speech. If
you don't judge people based on their ethnic origin, it doesn't matter what ethnic group
people are. OTOH, it is perfectly proper to be concerned about the influence of the
"Israeli lobby" on our government as long as it isn't a racial issue.

Those are the reasons that I simply dismiss anything that they might say.

What! Certainly the Jews lived there before the Muslims did. And, here is where it gets
messy. If you believe that Jews are a race then their ancestors used to live in Palestine
and they are just going back to their homeland. Zionism asserts this without going into race.

I said except for the Golan Heights. However the other land was in dispute before the
partition. It was the partition that made it part of Jordan. So, they *have* been
fighting over the same land since 1948.

No, it doesn't take a genius, it takes a racist.

I know about Dresden. I am quite aware of the fact that Bolsheviks killed a lot of Jews
and that Stalin killed a lot of Russians and people of other ethnic groups. Estimates I
have read indicate that the USSR killed more people than the Nazis did. However, I do
make a distinction between people killed in war and those deliberately exterminated.

Israel has nuclear weapons. I have no doubt that if attacked that they would use them if
they could not win by conventional means. I do not see that as murdering vast quantities
of Arabs. If they were not ready to use these weapons, where is the deterrent?

And in the ethnic sense they would be Jews.

Interesting aside: Genetic tests have shown that some of these African Jews have the
"Cohen gene". Since the discrimination against them has been based on claims that they
aren't actually Jews, I wonder what will happen now.

It is the criteria for the right of return. And this stands your argument of religious
discrimination against Arabs on its head.

As I said, the laws are based on citizenship. In this case, the Zionist criteria for
Israel citizenship confounds the issue. But, you have admitted that it isn't about religion.

No, one refers to an ethnic group and might be considered to be racist. The other refers
to a country.

Possibly has something to do with the fact that the Palestinians are trying to annihilate
them. It is hard under such circumstances not to hate your opponent as a racial group.
