i'm not sure i care, and not because i don't care about Andreas as a person. i

Andreas is in a leadership position in the KDE project? i'm not sure i'd agree 
with that. he's definitely done a lot of work for and with the project in the 
past, but i don't know if i'd consider him to currently be a "project 
leader".

but that said, let's assume for a moment he was. and let's also assume that 
he's a rabid foaming at the mouth commie Marxist bastard! how would this 
eventually have an adverse affect on the project, and how would it manifest 
itself? would the simply project route around any emerging problems, or can a 
single person derail a technical project of 100s that is used by millions 
with their otherwise unrelated political beliefs?

personally, i believe if that were possible, i can name a good half dozen 
people who would've seen to it that KDE was a smoldering crater over the last 
few years.

people may irk us, but software projects don't have feelings.
