50,000 people died in an Iranian earthquake because they build cities out of
mud. A similar earthquake in California collapsed one historic building,
leaving two wounded.

Thousands of students have to rally for a different government in Iran. Gray
Davis was peacefully recalled for an immigrant in California governor
elections.

Sodomy carries the death penalty in Iran. The San Francisco mayor
disobedienced California state law so that gays can "marry" (or rather
*redefine* marriage to include same-sex unions, as they already have full
marriage rights).

Yes, the US is superior to Iran in many ways. I can't make it this black and
white for all countries, but there are few countries that even come close to
the amount of freedom, prosperity and democracy.

Not Germany, talked to any Ossies lately? Not France, where headscarves are
now banned in schools.

Note that that doesn't mean I think Americans are superior to foreigners.

But I refuse to be like a friend of mine who said "every culture is worth as
much as the other, so people have the right to be oppressed". Fuck no. If
what I've read about Kim-Jung-Il is true, it's time to march north of the
38th parallel. The KNCA has been reporting about fruit baskets send to KJI
for his birthday next week for the past several weeks. Criticism is strictly
"verboten".

I refuse to take seriously people who do not accept that there *are*
examples of supremacy.
