qt/mac reqirements?

Is there a list of minume(sp?) system reqirements that need to be met 
before you can compile qt? I keep on getting this error message now:

"cp -f "../translations/qt_sk.qm" "/opt/kde/translations"
mkdir: /System/Library/Frameworks/Qt.framework: No such file or 
directory

make[1]: *** [src-install] Error 2
make: *** [install] Error 2"

I'm gussing that I am missing something. Am I running the wronge os? I 
have jaguar running right now.
