I have the proper information in the ~/.cvsrc file and .cvspass file
and the permissions on those files are correct.
When I run cvs login, i get :
[iBook-900:~] ratph1nk% cvs login
cvs login: No CVSROOT specified! Please use the `-d' option
cvs [login aborted]: or set the CVSROOT environment variable.

Here is some 'more'  output
[iBook-900:~] ratph1nk% more .cvsrc
cvs -z4 -q
diff -u3 -p
update -dP
checkout -P

[iBook-900:~] ratph1nk% more .cvspass
CVSROOT=:pserver:[email protected]:/home/kde

Any suggestions?

Jon
