Well, for now, on 10.2 you'll pretty much have to reproduce what's in 
the DMG's yourself, yes.

I'll make jaguar packages when I get the chance to set up my 10.2 box to 
build this stuff, but it'll probably be a week or two.  In the meantime, 
it should work using fink stuff.
