OK, I think I'm gonna have to go through line by line in the Scribus code and hack out X11 dependencies. Martin Costabel of Fink (maintans the package for them) says there is a lot of X11 stuff and it may cripple the program. OK, but I'm willing to try. What I need help with is how to do if-def stuff. The examples on the wiki are too brief for me to follow--I am but a code-fu grasshopper (and a baby one at that). Can anyone give me some guidance, using small words that are easily digested? =) Or point me to some online resources?
