Sorry, keyboard modifiers are completely messed up right now.  Basically,
KDE/X11 uses X11 keyboard routines along with standard Qt key routines.
Those X11 routines are not available in Qt/Mac and must therefore be
reimplemented.  I've been looking into it, but have been distracted
by other stuff recently.  I'm hoping to have some time to look into
it this weekend, though.

If anyone else, however, is interested in contributing, this would be
a good area to help out with.  This is something fundamental for all
KDE applications.

So, if you want to help, take a look at kdelibs/kdecore/*_(x11|mac).[ch]*
and kdelibs/kdecore/kshortcut.[ch]*.  The *_mac.* files need to be
implemented completely, or we need to switch to using just Qt input.
(Anyone have any idea why they're not already using just Qt input?).
I'd suggest, if we can, staying with just Qt input routines as much as
possible.  That would also help out the people working on the windows
port.
