My take:

        "This CD contains programs that are currently in a beta
        testing state. It is safe to run Linux from CD, without installing
        it to the harddisk. Should you want to help us debug the KDE
        Live CD Installer and make it a safe and stable tool,
        do one of the following:

         - Back up all data you want to keep onto a different disk
           (different partition is not safe enough).

         - Put an new drive into the computer and remove the current
           one completely.

        <B>In any case, the current version of the installer will completely
        overwrite your inserted disk with new, different data</B> if you
        choose to install Linux from it.

        Thanks for your help! We appreciate feedback. In the future
        we will have Live CDs which will be safe to install on existing
        disks without loosing data."
