David Sansome of "GTK-Qt Theme Engine" fame has offered to port it to
shell... wait, he said "bash"....

Since the fuse_kio will only work on Linux (AFAIK+understand), this is
a minor issue, probably. Is there a KDE "policy" about shell script
portability?

Or is there someone else already working on shellifying/perlifying
ioslave_helper?
