This shouldn't be problem, but i'm gonne read the swirl usage guidelines to 
check... Dunno about KDE logo, but many apps seem to use it, i can see no 
problem with that.

Well, might be... But we want something abstract enough  to fit into an icon i 
guess. At most 64x64. No raytraced landscapes please :p. The swirl + gear is 
ideal in this respect, as it needs very little detail to express Kalyxo's 
goals. Maybe differently stylized? But IMO it's better to use genuine free 
logos for that, otherwise it will look more like a ripoff than anything else. 
Or if debian+kde approach is a no-go, we might want to create a whole new 
logo from the ground up.
