KDE had very lax handling of logo use so far. You only should notice, that KDE 
is in the process of getting a trademark registered. This also includes the 
lineart logo (gear+K). It might therefore happen, that KDE is going to setup 
rules as well (I think we even have to). I expect the rules to be similar to 
the Debian ones. 

IMHO the kalyxo logo can be decuded from the two logos (if you want so), but 
it should be standalone enough, so that it prevents confusion wrt the other 
projects. I don't see any problem in having an own logo like e.g. arklinux 
has.
