Open Solaris

Has anyone worked with Open Solaris, I am interested in hearing about it and 
its usefulness along with accessible areas namely magnification and screen 
reading.

I am looking to test such a system along with Ubuntu, Fedora, a version of 
Suse. Although very new to all this I thought I'd just as well jump in all 
at once and hope for a pleasurable learning curve... any mentorship greatly 
appreciated.
