help!!!

Hello Fred and all fellow listers, I have a question that I'm really 
hoping you can help me out with.  I am trying to test the new at-spi2 
framework in Unity 2d after a full upgrade to oneiric from Natty, and 
cannot get orca to read anything past the desktop.  I can get it to 
speak some window titles, and today I got it to speak the menubar in 
libreoffice, but that must've been a miracle or something.  Is there 
something I'm doing wrong?  Is orca not connected to any other programs 
as of yet?  Any help would be greatly appreciated, since atspi2 and 
especially accessible qt are new to Ubuntu.  Thanks much in advance.
