Problems Configuring atlantik-0.4.0

Im getting an error when i run configure. It tells me that it cant find 
the X includes, and to check my installation and add the correct paths. 
What paths do i need to add? and is it refering to the X installation? 
Sorry but im new to linux, and im not much of a programmer.
