The Atlantic game is something I wrote myself and it's not quite finished in
its implementation. I will remove the static tax option and go with a
percentage all the time, that could be fun as well and is actually something
not in the normal Monopoly game. :)

Can you tell me what version of Atlantik Red Hat is shipping? You should be
able to tell from selecting "Help -> About Atlantik" from the Atlantik
toolbar. I definitely cannot reproduce this with the stable branch of
Atlantik - when KDE 3.1.3 comes out, so will Atlantik 0.5.3.

It has always been obvious to me that KDE and its requirements are an
"obvious" requirement for Atlantik. It wouldn't be useful to list those,
they can be different per distribution. For example, glib is something Red
Hat must have added: my KDE and Atlantik run fine without it!
