I remember when there was all that development work to get rid of cursor lag in
wayland by implementing hardware cursor; I was following it. I remember looking
forward to it as an early Plasma Wayland user at the time when these things
were being implemented. I remember when I upgraded Plasma over time and all the
cursor lag disappeared. To see some of the lag come back in the form of a
regression doesn't feel good.
