The biggest drawback is that only a number of fonts have these information embedded 2) rely on font names and create a curated list which assigns a font name to a category. As for categories, the most common and most widely accepted (in my humble opionion) would be something like: 1) Serif 2) Sans-serif 3) Monospace (can be both serif and sans-serif, but the main feature is monospace - similar to a classic typewriter) 4) Script 5) Ornamental (non-font graphics, like border ornaments etc.) 6) Symbol 7) Deco (Fonts for Titles etc. Often only one style, or only roman and bold) -- You are receiving this mail because: You are watching all bug changes.
