This is a bug it QtSvg, not supporting line breaks.

All KDE/Qt software are concerned.

It is already reported to Qt:

Kind of related to https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=448234
Svg is a big format, hard to support fully if not a core functionality.
