Resizing doesn't look all that different to me between the two videos. Most
likely, the app reacts slowly to reallocation requests in general, and it's
only a bit slower with overlays because it sometimes gets a dmabuf feedback
request to re-allocate in between the resize events.
I doubt we can do anything about it.
