Demonstration of visible bug in the Application Launcher

DESCRIPTION
In the Application Launcher (Kickoff) settings, "Use compact list item style"
doesn't do anything. Toggling it and clicking Apply has no effect on the
sidebar. Instead, toggling "Switch sidebar categories when hovering over them"
changes the sidebar's compact style, on top of doing its own job correctly.

STEPS TO REPRODUCE
1. Open the Application Launcher and pin it.
2. Right-click on the Application Launcher icon and click "Configure
Application Launcher...".
3. In the "General" page of the Application Launcher Settings, enable "Use
compact list item style" and click the "Apply" button.
4. Disable "Use compact list item style" and click on the "Apply" button.
5. Enable "Switch sidebar categories when hovering over them" and click the
"Apply" button.
6. Disable "Switch sidebar categories when hovering over them" and click the
"Apply" button.

OBSERVED RESULT
The "Use compact list item style" option doesn't compact the sidebar category
list item on the Application Launcher (which is pinned to view quick changes).
The "Switch sidebar categories when hovering over them" option, when toggled,
compacts the sidebar item list and also changes categories when hovering over
another.

EXPECTED RESULT
The "Use compact list item style" option should toggle the option of making
item listed style compact. The "Switch sidebar categories when hovering over
them" option should make categories switch when the cursor is hovered over
another category on the sidebar.
