After locking and unlocking the screen (both manual via Meta+L and automatic
after inactivity), the desktop containment (icons/folderview) on the primary
monitor stops responding to mouse clicks (both left and right click), including
drag operations. The panel (taskbar) remains fully responsive and interactive.
This occurs consistently after automatic lock; less consistently or not at all
after strictly manual lock (still under observation).

Steps to reproduce:

Set up a dual-monitor NVIDIA + Wayland session
Enable automatic screen lock (e.g., after 5 minutes of inactivity)
Wait for the automatic lock to trigger
Unlock with password
Attempt to left-click or right-click desktop icons on the primary monitor

Observed result:
Desktop icons/folderview on primary monitor do not respond to any mouse input.
Panel remains functional.

Expected result:
Desktop containment should regain full input responsiveness after unlock, same
as the panel.

Workaround:
kquitapp6 plasmashell && kstart plasmashell restores full interactivity without
requiring a KWin or session restart.

Additional notes:
No explicit crash or fatal error appears in journalctl at the time of the issue
— plasmashell does not crash, it simply loses responsiveness on the containment
layer specifically.
