I have my laptop connected directly to an 8K (available in Linux7.3) Samsung
TV,

but I can't have the same experience that I can with some other devices;

e.g. have the screen auto turn on/off through the use of HDMI-CEC

from just toggling the TV screen's Device: Enabled in the settings

to events like resume, boot, shutdown, etc.

could KDE not manage that?

should the separate possible uses of HDMI-CEC be logged as individual bugs?
