Perhaps CachyOS uses faster-than-default animations.

On an ultra-wide screen, the nature of the hardware means that many UI elements
will appear in your peripheral vision; you buy it knowing that going in, and
knowing that therefore you might need to pay more attention to things on
screen.

Or at least you should know that!

Ultimately people have to take responsibility for their own choices here; we
can't bubble-wrap the entire computer.
