I tested and you're right. Different profiles reproduce the issue.

So for reproduction:
1. Run firefox --name=test --class=test -P test
2. If there is no profile named "test", Firefox's profile manager dialog opens.
3. Create new profile named test and uncheck "Use the selected profile without
asking at startup".
4. Run own default profile.
5. Now run another profile (test) with previous command (firefox --name=test
--class=test -P test).

Running these should launch new instance with that yellow "W" icon.
