I'm taking it as not being a problem anymore. I would also encourage you to
update to 26.04.3 (or wait for the upcoming 26.08 release) because 25.12
introduced a new window docking system that most likely fixed your issue
anyway. So, I'm closing this with RESOLVED - WORKSFORME.

On the other topic re `vsfiltermod`: I'm not familiar with that fork and we
cannot support that for obvious reasons.
