1- Have a notebook with its lid closed connected to a external 4K screen via
HDMI.
2- Boot into your session, go to System Settings and create an account (or
delete it).
3- Exit your session.

For some reason creating/removing a second account causes exiting the session
to suspend 100% of the time, while without doing that is a 50/50 chance.
When exiting works normally: The NumLock led turns off, then back on.
When exiting suspends: The NumLock led turns off, then on, then off again.

I think that for a brief moment the external screen is off, making the PLM
think its just a notebook with the lid closed and it suspends.
