status of kde and kmail ?

Hi,

can anybody provide me with any new status information of a native kdelibs
and mainly kmail port for windows ?
perhaps i can find some time to toy around with it, and i don´t want to waste 
time on things, that other people have already worked out.

ralf, can you tell me if there are any newer kde on cygwin packages in the 
works ?
